A Legacy of Sustainability: Empowering Communities, Enriching the Environment

In 1994, Environment Planning Group Limited (EPGL) embarked on a mission that would leave an indelible mark on the fabric of our planet. With the planting and meticulous maintenance of over 500,000 trees, EPGL not only achieved its first milestone but also signalled the beginning of a revolutionary journey. This pioneering effort was more than just a gesture; it was a testament to the company's unwavering commitment to environmental stewardship.

As the years unfolded, EPGL's resolve only intensified. In 1998, the company expanded its horizons by venturing into community drinking water solutions, addressing a critical need that had long plagued rural India. This strategic move was a natural progression, aligning with EPGL's ethos of harmonizing human well-being with environmental sustainability.

Today, EPGL stands tall as a beacon of hope, its legacy built on the pillars of perseverance, innovation, and community engagement. The company's tireless efforts have not only improved the lives of countless individuals but also inspired a new generation of eco-warriors.

EPGL's tree plantation initiative was more than just a numbers game; it was a bold statement against environmental degradation. By planting and nurturing over half a million trees, the company helped restore ecosystems, supported biodiversity, and contributed to a cleaner atmosphere. This selfless act has had a ripple effect, inspiring others to join the fight against climate change.

The Tree Plantation Model: Individual plot owners tend to wait for urbanisation and hike in land prices to develop. Planting trees on empty plots of land, not only does it contribute to beautification and environmental friendliness, but it also helps to reduce carbon footprint. Additionally, it can provide remunerative returns on timber and fruits grown, making it a productive and sustainable use of the land.

Focusing on Small and Medium plot owners helps reach a wider section of society that will create a bigger mark for the project.

By involving small and medium plot owners, we can:

  • Increase the scale and reach of tree planting projects.
  • Promote environmental awareness and responsibility within various sub-sections of communities.
  • Create a more sustainable and resilient urban environment.
  • Foster a deeper connection between people and nature.

Planting trees on small plots is a powerful action that can collectively create a significant impact. By empowering small and medium plot owners, EPGL can build a greener, healthier, and more vibrant future for all.

EPGL's foray into community drinking water solutions marked a significant turning point in its journey. By providing clean drinking water to rural communities, the company addressed a fundamental human right, empowering villagers to break free from the shackles of water scarcity. This initiative has been a game-changer, improving health outcomes, enhancing quality of life, and unlocking economic potential.

EPGL entered the water treatment sector in 1994, revolutionizing the industry with our model of Community RO-purified water for drinking and repurposing reject water for ventures like laundromats and car washes. We made RO+UV purified water accessible to the masses on a self-sustainable basis, ensuring commercial viability and attaining zero water wastage.

The Drinking Water Model: EPGL install and operate RO systems matching our clients' peak daily requirements with suitable buffer at its own CAPEX/OPEX. Our techno-commercial advantages include:

Hygiene: Fresh, RO-purified water without human touch.

Accountability: We remain accountable for water quality and machine upkeep.

Commercials: Prices 25-40% lesser than buying water in carboys.

No strings attached: No installation fees, no minimal duration of contract.

As EPGL continues to push the boundaries of sustainability, we invite you to join us in our mission. Together, we can:
